Ways to Get Involved

Many of our members volunteer at various ministries and non-profit organizations in Luray including Page One, Choices, Living Legacy—the West End Recreation Center, Ruritans, Weekday Religious Education, and Loaves and Fishes Backpack Ministry. We also have an annual “Change the World” weekend where teams do various helpful projects in the community.

Moving a bit further away our members are engaged with the Society of St. Andrew’s gleaning program, Operation Christmas Child, our connection to a Methodist congregation in Stavropol Russia, and short-term mission trip opportunities. Within the church there are a myriad of ways to share your gifts and talents. These include volunteering in our nursery, serving as a Sunday School teacher, singing and playing with our praise team, singing in the Chancel Choir, bell ringing with our bell choir, helping with the audio-visual team that works during worship services to provide online streaming on YouTube, serving with the various groups which plan and execute programs in the church and community, visiting sick and shut-in members, taking communion and cheer to residents of local nursing homes, helping with our Facebook and Instagram postings, monitoring and updating our website.
